We offer several backing options to suit different needs: iron-on, heat seal, Velcro (hard and soft), self-adhesive, clutch pins, and magnetic backings. The best backing depends on how you plan to use your patches. Need them removable? Velcro works great. Want permanent attachment? Iron-on or heat seal is perfect. We'll help you choose the right option based on your specific needs.
We offer two popular border styles for your patches: hot-cut borders and merrowed borders. Each type gives your patch a different look and serves different purposes. Hot-cut borders create clean, sealed edges that work well for most designs. Merrowed borders add a decorative stitched edge that gives patches a more traditional, finished appearance. We can help you decide which border style works best for your design.
Most custom patches use up to 9 different thread colors, which covers the vast majority of designs.
